Leaving MonaVie and Joining My World Plus
The summer of 2008 I got introduced to the Mona Vie opportunity after someone gave me a bottle to try out. The juice in I called the designer bottle was actually pretty good. I didn’t need any introduction to network marketing or MLM since I had been in this area already for years. The compensation plan really was something that I really liked more than what I had seen from other companies I had been with in the past.
So we made the decision to join Mona Vie opportunity so in a short time we were signed up and our sponsor opened up his trunk of his car and quickly gave me my first case of juice. We just ordered my business pack which had me in an auto ship program for two cases a month of $240 which is the requirement as a business builder. Now I thought to myself I knew I had to take this to profit pretty quickly to at least get to a break even point. In any company that I join that is my goal I set early on to reach a break even then it becomes easier to build and the extra money can be used to advertise with.
I went out and picked up my first business builder and a couple of customers. The duplication model I was using was in the 2 cases that were shipped to me each month 4 bottles would be for my consumption and 4 bottles to give away to friends to try out. Then invite them to a tasting party to learn more about Mona Vie. I knew this would take some time Levitra Professional to build out, since not everyone that you give a bottle to is going to join you Mona Vie business. In looking in my back office I could see the main leg of the compensation plan growing but the leg I got paid from was the lesser leg which I knew was going to take some time to grow.
By late September a couple of things happened to me in Mona Vie, one was the economy tanked and the market hit some of its lowest numbers in years. I got calls from my customers saying they liked the drink but they couldn’t see them spending this kind of money in this economy at this time. It was getting harder for me to find people who wanted to spend a couple hundred dollars each month to build a Mona Vie business. I began to see was my lesser leg now getting smaller.
I made the decision the following month to leave Mona Vie. I liked the compensation plan but it was going to take me much longer to build and at the time the economy wasn’t my friend.
The next month I joined GDI Global Domains International which is a $10 a month opportunity which provided web hosting. I signed my first person up on October 12th 2008 and by the end of the year I had over 50 people on my team. This opened my eyes to the internet since there was only a couple people that I knew that joined me in GDI the rest were all brought into the business through the internet. I am still with GDI today and make over three figures a month on a $10 a month business.
Internet marketing has always been my favorite compared to a business such as Mona Vie where it was more belly to belly where I needed to go to local meetings or tasting parties. I am not a big fan of getting friends and family into any MLM business.
A year later September 2009 internet marketing led me to My World Plus. My World Plus is a $20 business that allows me to save money on things that I purchase each and every day. Thing’s like grocerys, many local resturants, Subway, Quisino’s, Papa Johns, Movies, Golf Green Fees, Oil Changes. Our car this past week wouldn’t start and we had it to have it towed to our local Goodyear. It needed a fuel pump which was located in the gas tank, fuel filter and a new battery. An expensive repair to say the least but with a My World Plus coupon we saved $86 on the repair. But using My World Plus discounts on things that we spend money on anyway we save more each month then we spend on our $20 membership.
I mentioned earlier I like a business I can do and break even, My World Plus being a $20 business has made it much easier for me to do that. We moved to a Star 1 level after recruiting just 3 people in our business and that alone will put you into profit each month. The compensation plan I think is better than Mona Vie instead of having two lines My World Plus has one line and builds down below in a vertical acceleration. Just since joining in September I have seen more than 50,000 people get pre-enrolled under me and well over 3000 join. This compensation plan has much more excitement to it since My World Plus guarantees that every one will get paid on the first 5 levels without recruiting anyone. This makes it exciting and builds very fast.
All my recruiting is done online, I don’t have to give away an expensive bottle of juice any longer. My duplication model is to pre-enroll them into My World Plus where they can look at everything in the back office to see all the hundreds of retailers that they already shop at today a way to save even more money by being a member of My World Plus.
I think back now that if I were still in Mona Vie and also My World Plus the many people who told me they couldn’t afford to join Mona Vie. I could have offered these people a $20 My World Plus opportunity since you can use the membership to save more than the $20 your spending each month.
My World Plus allows me to market to the masses. It’s been a great choice.
